PSYCHOPATHY and THE US PRESIDENTS
According to Prof. Kevin Dutton, Fearless Dominance and Impulsive Antisociality are markers of psychopathy. But I see things differently, due to my experience of living with psychopaths. Those are not psychopathic traits. Psychopaths are consistently antisocial. Empaths are impulsively antisocial. Anybody can show fearless dominance.

Excerpt from KevinDutton.co.uk
My insight into human nature in general, and psychopaths in particular, has me usually disputing pretty much everything Kevin Dutton says. In fact, I believe he is a psychopath himself. After a bit of research, I can see that he is rather justified in putting the Presidents in this order.

Really??? Don’t you think he, as an Oxford / Cambridge (I forget which, but they’re two of the best universities in the world regardless) professor may know more about psychopathy than you? Unless you can point me to one or more of his peers (other psychopathy experts like Hare, Stout, Babiak, et al…) who strongly rebuke his work, I don’t see why anybody should take your word over his.
In his TV / YouTube appearances, he is very clearly not a psychopath (perhaps it takes one to know one) though he does definitely have a boner for them.

I seriously don’t give a fuck about university credits and studying psychopaths in a book, then having some safe clinical sessions with them – that doesn’t make him more of an expert. I have lived with psychopaths my entire life – well over 40 years. I live with a psychopath now for the purpose of study. It is clearly not a safe, controlled environment. Dutton’s sterile experience with psychopaths pales by comparison.
I say what I think. This is a blog of opinions. James, this is a world of opinions. Psychopaths like to be contrary just for the sake of it – so you very well prove again and again. You don’t have to take my word for anything. You don’t have to take anybody’s word for anything. That’s the great thing about having intelligence.
In any case, Dutton being a psychopath, or a wannabe, can bite me. For a fact.

Such anger… no wonder you’re not a real scientist.
I am contrary by nature, but believe it or not I’m not just criticising you for the sake of it. If you read my comments, you’d see they pertain to a reasoned argument, not just an aimless attack.
You’re not a psychopathy expert (as if the readers can’t work that out for themselves), you’re just not. So quit pretending.

Hmm, noooo. If you’re being misread, it means you’re not being clear enough and your message is being lost. Duhhhh. Or do you intentionally want to deceive your readers? Manipulate them into working for your benefit?
What’s the validity and reliability of your roomie experiment? (whatever that involves; sounds like some sick psycho stuff to me) When will it be submitted for peer review. What is your hypothesis? (that question should’ve come first but fuck reordering things).
As for the anger, the swearing did it. The general tone of your writing. The repetition for angry emphasis. The sarcasm. Such anger. I may have to seek counselling, I think I got PTSD from that brutal tongue-lashing. Seriously.

I don’t know how he’ll react, depends if he considers you a threat. He might bash your brains in and put you under the floorboards. You’d better hurry up and find out, some of us can’t stand the tension.

This brings up an interesting point – I know a lot of psychopaths who lie for no reason, even when the truth would serve them better. But the difference is that they were in masked mode with me, not openly psychopath. Do you tend to do the pathological lying only with people who you are targeting?

Well I’m having trouble reconciling a president that tried to oust the Fed, get the truth out about conspiracy and a few other things, with One who is a psychopath. Kennedy was not perfect, but He gave His life for some rather idealistic efforts, something I would not expect from a pres who was seriously psychopathic.
To Me, George senior ranks at top.
And James, don’t You think One from the auspices of ivy league might have some probability of being controlled opposition, as it were? Just thinking maybe.

I don’t actually have an opinion on which presidents are more or less psychopathic; not being American myself it’s not really a pressing concern. Similarly, Prof. Dutton is not a historian or a political scientist, so he isn’t in a position to talk about the presidents with much legitimacy either! Dutton’s opinion on American history is worth about as much as whatever beliefs he might hold about the nonrepetition of pi’s decimal places or the significance of Socratic dialogue to western civilisation – that is to say very little.
But my main argument is against the general dismissal of Dutton as a reputable academic full stop. My point about him being a psychopathy expert versus Tina and you and I being comparatively ignorant laypeople, therefore he probably knows more about the subject than us, stands true.
To be honest, I think this blog’s recent discrediting of certain public figures as psychopaths (President Obama, then Hillary Clinton, now Kevin Dutton) when no evidence exists to support such extraordinary claims is damaging to its overall credibility and undermines an otherwise serious message.
“don’t You think One from the auspices of ivy league might have some probability of being controlled opposition” – Only if you believe in a wider psychopathic conspiracy. I’m aware some of you do believe in such a thing, but as you know I emphatically do not.
So to answer your question. no I do not think Kevin Dutton is controlled opposition.
But don’t take my word on any of this – I’m the enemy, remember? 🙂
